New arrangements have been made to raise funds towards a campaign of public information to negate the false narrative built around her by police and the ODPP, it was announced by the Sue Neill-Fraser Support group. The move follows the November 30, 2021 dismissal of her latest appeal against the murder conviction.*
Less than 24 hours after the Go Fund Me page was taken down yesterday, the Support Group moved to reboot the fundraising effort through their existing bank account (details below).
“Funds will be used for advertising, printing documents, and flyers, billboards, banners, placards, letterbox drops, etc etc “ in Tasmania and on the mainland. Support Group President Rosie Crompton-Crook says the funds will also be used to pay the travel and accommodation expenses of high profile speakers invited to Hobart.
No reason was given by Go Fund Me for their action, which is covered by their catch-all terms that enables them to shut down any campaign at their discretion. It is thought that the platform may have made the decision due to the fact that legally, Sue Neill-Fraser stands convicted of murder.
In an email last night, Rosie Crompton-Crook advised Support Group members: “Thank you to all the lovely supporters who tried to donate – we would love you to please donate again.
