Presumption of evil

In his new book, Presumption of evil, Andrew L. Urban examines one of the most egregious miscarriages of justice: the case of Noel Greenaway, convicted on the say-so of a handful of women.

Urban traces the Greenaway family’s nightmare from the phone call that alerted Noel that he would be named – the next day – in the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Assault, through the trial and the appeal, to the day he met the ‘evil’ Noel face to face in a supermax prison.

Presumption of evil reveals in heartbreaking detail how sexual crime is now crimen exceptum – a crime so exceptional that the established rules of justice need not be applied to it.

Foreword by Margaret Cunneen SC.

The Kindle edition sells for $11.99.

Often in situations of this kind, one will find prosecutorial legal professionals that rely on lies to make their case.
The same can be said about defense lawyers.
Essentially, our justice system has become “poxed” by those above.
Now ask me if I like & trust lawyers? Absolutely not, they are engaged in a hugely dishonest industry.
Here in Tasmania, the situation is horrendous, frequent cover-ups, or one owes the other a favor, the police don’t like you, all are a cause of injustice in this State.

This State will still permit a proven lying cheat & horse abuser to continue in this State’s live-cast harness racing industry, despite fact evidence to the contrary.

Good on you Williambtm, very few speak out the truth in Tasmania; more are afraid I think than complicit, but maybe they will be compromised because they are related to people who are complicit, and I think that is the case. Everyone knows someone who knows someone connected to Johnny or Jilly. Fear or cowardice is not an excuse to remain silent, by silence they are complicit.
Owen, and it was me that posted A4 sheets in Hobart, Corrupt Police, Pure Evil back nin the 90’s, seems so long ago but yesterday, still healing. But wouldn’t have missed it for quids.
